We Put a Sentence in a User-Agent. Four Minutes Later, Telegram Knocked.
Our crawler already probed 1,827 x402 origins every Monday and said nothing. Tonight we gave it one sentence to say, in the User-Agent, where only a server log would see it. Four minutes after the run ended, a Telegram link-preview fetched the URL. Somebody's log pipeline had read our bot, told a human, and nobody on either side had been in the loop. A story that crossed our desk this week: someone arranging car shipping wanted to confirm a car was assembled in Japan. An AI assistant looked at the VIN, saw it started with J, and said yes — correctly. Then it named the wrong model, confidently.
