The dates that decide the agent economy
Crawler walls, floor votes, comment dockets, grid audits, the conference corridor, the Bitcoin cycle clock — the machine economy gets shaped on specific days. We track them here, same as we track the rails on Rail Pulse and the grid on Texas Watch. Sources linked on every entry.

Congress reconvenes — 14 working days to election recess
Lawmakers return from August recess with only 14 working days before the October election recess.
why it matters · Every pending crypto and agent-payment bill has to move in this window or wait out the election.

Cloudflare default-blocks mixed-use AI crawlers
Crawlers that blend search, AI training, and agent use get blocked by default on ad-hosting pages for new customers, new sites, and all free-plan sites. AI companies had until today to separate their crawlers.
why it matters · The open web starts gating machine traffic at the edge — and paid, identified access (the thing x402 sells) becomes the sanctioned path in. Cloudflare's pay-per-crawl marketplace is evolving into pay-per-use alongside it.

CLARITY Act cloture vote in the Senate
Procedural vote on whether to limit debate and advance the digital-asset market-structure bill to the Senate floor. Needs 60 votes; a failed cloture vote could effectively kill the bill this Congress.
why it matters · This is the rulebook for which agency regulates digital-asset markets — including a DeFi trading framework and stablecoin yield rules that shape how agent money is allowed to work.

Korea Blockchain Week 2026 — Seoul
Asia's premier Web3 conference at Walkerhill, Seoul: industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and institutional investors on blockchain, AI, and digital-asset regulation.
why it matters · The fall conference corridor opens here — announcements seeded at KBW tend to detonate at TOKEN2049 the following week.

TOKEN2049 Singapore
The world's largest crypto and Web3 conference — ~25,000 attendees from 160 countries at Marina Bay Sands, with TOKEN2049 Week running October 5–11.
why it matters · If there's a major agent-payments or x402 ecosystem announcement brewing, this is the stage it lands on. Ends one day before the Bitcoin cycle pattern's projected turning point.

Bitcoin 1,064/364-day cycle — projected turning point
The widely circulated 1,064-day-rise / 364-day-decline pattern (2015→2017→2018→2021→2022→Oct 6 2025 ATH) projects its next turning point around this date — roughly 364 days after the October 6, 2025 all-time high.
why it matters · A pattern with n=3 is a rhyme, not a law — but half the market trades like it believes it, which makes the window itself an event. Full date math in our write-up.

GENIUS Act stablecoin rules — comment period closes
Treasury's licensing regime for payment-stablecoin issuers closes its Federal Register comment docket.
why it matters · The comment docket is the earliest signal of which stablecoin issuers will seek licenses — and whose settlement rail gets complicated. Watch for the issuer behind your rail.

ERCOT data-center audit reports due
Audit reports on up to 300 proposed Texas data centers are due — disclosures of financing, water, power plans, and ownership. New large-load approvals are paused until the audit completes.
why it matters · The first honest census of how much of the 474 GW interconnection queue is real. Whatever survives disclosure is the true footprint of the machine economy in Texas.

ERCOT presents data-center audit results
ERCOT presents the audit findings publicly, one week after reports come due.
why it matters · Expect the headline number — how many of ~300 proposed sites are credible — and the shape of whatever approval process replaces the pause.
