The fifth halving cuts the block subsidy from 3.125 to 1.5625 BTC at block 1,050,000. As of Sep 19, 2026 the tip was block 967,712 — 82,288 blocks out, about 571 days at ten minutes a block. The date drifts with hashrate; check the block count, not the calendar.
